All the excitement of sprucing up Broad Creek begins at Rosenberg Welcome Center at 8:30AM. We’ll begin the day with getting you signed in and assigned to a work crew. Then, it’s off to work till 12:00 noon where we’ll meet at the dining pavilion for a provided lunch! We wrap up by 4:00PM.
We have projects for everyone’s skill level. We change light bulbs, repair rowboats, repair canvas tents, repair picnic tables, clean gutters, flush water heaters, split firewood, clean coils on refrigerators, cut firewood, clean chimneys, pressure wash shower house, perform trail work, seal dining tables and benches, and more. (To operate a power tool, or climb a ladder, you must be at least 18 years old.)
We would prefer to assign volunteers to projects before the event, but walk-ins are welcome – and will have jobs assigned to them.
If you have a trade talent, specialized tools, or materials let us know. We want to match your talents to our needs.
