Bridging the Gap: Boy Scouts Unite for those Impacted by Key Bridge Collapse In the wake of the Key...
April Letter from the Scout Executive
Show Your Support. Maryland Tough. Baltimore Strong
We know the positive impact that the Scouting family can have when we mobilize our members for the greater good of others.
The recent collapse of the Francis Scott Bridge has and will have a long-term impact on our community. The Key Bridge connected jobs, commerce, travel, and livelihoods for many in the greater Baltimore area. The impact of this tragedy will go well beyond what we have already seen.
To help and provide support to those in our community who are directly affected by this tragedy, the Baltimore Area Council has set a goal to raise $25,000 through the issuing a special limited edition “Maryland Tough – Baltimore Strong/Francis Scott Key Bridge” Council shoulder patch. The funds raised will be given to the “Bridging the Gap Fund” being administered by the United Way of Central Maryland.
This limited edition of “Baltimore Strong” shoulder patch is available for $25 (shipping included) and can be purchased at www.BaltimoreBSA.org/KeyBridge.
Thank you for your support in this important outreach to help those directly impacted by the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
